Wood Repair & Restoration
Wobbly chairs, water-damaged cabinets, split doors — we fix what others replace. Your favorite piece gets a second chance.
Cabinetry & Built-ins
Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, bookshelves that fill a wall — measured, designed, and installed to make the most of your space.
Doors & Trim
Interior and exterior door installation, crown molding, baseboards, and trim work that ties every room together with clean lines.
Deck & Outdoor
Decks, pergolas, and outdoor furniture built to withstand Alabama weather while looking like they belong.
Special Projects
Playsets, pet houses, garden beds, or that heirloom piece your family has talked about for years — if it's wood, we can build it.

Our Story
A name that says what we do
Second Chance Woodworks was born from a simple belief: the best pieces aren't mass-produced — they're made. By hand. With attention to the things that matter.
We're not a big shop with a big inventory. We're a local workshop on Eastview Drive, where every project gets personal. Whether it's a dining table your kids will grow up around or a cabinet that's been fighting a losing battle with humidity, we treat your wood like it's our own.
That's why our neighbors trust us. That's why the work speaks for itself.

They took my grandmother's old dresser — the one that had been falling apart for years — and brought it back to life. It looks better than it ever did, and now it's a centerpiece in our home. That's not something you find everywhere.
